She assisted her husband in the youth and DVD/CD ministry. She participated in mission trips to the Philippines and Iowa.

Pastor Abbey and his wife prayed many years for children. God blessed them with their daughters through adoption. They were blessed to be able to have been involved with the delivery of Gracie and were able to take her home after her discharge from the hospital. In less than a year from her birth they were blessed with the opportunity to get custody of her half-sister, Brooklyn (6 years old). Two years later they were able to adopt Brooklyn. God had blessed them beyond what they had imagined. As an additional “surprise” blessing, God allowed Sister Abbey to become pregnant with their son, Grant. Truly their cup “runneth over”. They home school their children and have been blessed to be able to raise their children up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Brooklyn was saved at the age of 12 and Gracie at the age of 9.
